Today I was able to get our new substation signs up in Ellsinore, Eastwood and Grandin. Mayor Dawn Hood from Ellsinore, Mayor Diana Brower from Grandin and the Eastwood Fire Department have been very accommodating! Thank you to the Eastern Road district crew for helping get the signs up, your help is much appreciated. A huge thank you to Eastern Commissioner Tom Wilder, Western Commissioner Erik McSpadden and Presiding Commissioner Ron Keeney for assisting and supporting our efforts to bring these substations to different areas throughout the county. These substations are to enhance our officers presence in Grandin, Ellsinore and Eastwood. They will also help improve response times as well as act as a hub for meeting people in these communities. The Ellsinore substation is located at the Ellsinore Police Department in City hall. The Grandin substation is located at the old fire department building. The Eastwood substation is located at the Eastwood fire department. Thank you to Lay it on me graphics for helping design our substation signs as well! Our office will continue to strive to improve our service to the citizens of Carter County.
